I kind of agree with the cat. Most of the time, hard working is not enough. You have to show the company your potential value by eager to learn and improve, especially for the small company since the future of the company many times depends on the growth of their employee. Communication is probably the most important skill of a MBA, and if you cannot do that well, and don't want to improve, I personally won't keep somebody like that since I can hire a cheaper labor to do the backend work compared with a higher paid MBA. Race discrimination has become a buzz word, everybody tris to use it, maybe time to think the way you work and avoid the same problem in the future.
