To be honest with you, just treat this as learning a lesson. You are not likely to win this case, and on the court you might be sentensed to pay other charges, like in TX one of my friend was gaven a ticket for $600 plus $200 on the court for damage to the eco system since the money will go to wild life reserve. Think about it this way, at least you will pay attention in the future.
