congratulations to your new technology. Be very careful about the contract you signed with your employer, also don't forget to read the employee handbook. Most employer can fire you immediately if they found "conflic of interest", and they may consider they are your ONLY employer, which means you cannot have 2nd job, also all your inventions, research results are belong to the company during your employment. Having your own company with same busines as your current employer is definitly considered as "conflic of interest". Not only you will be fired, they can also claim your copy right, because the invention is invented during your employment with them.
The worst case is: your invention, your investment in opening a new company, your cost of applying copy right, and your job, and being sue by your employer.
