You can't get the money, unless you fix the problem and
what every how much you spend, that is the only money you can get.

In NY sometime even more complecate. After repair, town engeneer has to prove the job first, then the title co. will issue the money to you.

If you didn't fix it,for a period of time(you may check with title co), they will release the fund to the saler.

Anyway, contact more contractors, find the best price for you.
