store charge and car rental (or hotel charge) are in the same boat.
In the rental agreement one signed, one agrees to pay the extra charge in addition to rental fee, e.g. fuel charge, extra mileage charge etc. Store charge is totally different, the signed slip is the only valid
documentation. Otherwise, consumers would be charged multiple times
after they leave the shop. Even those New York electronic stores
will not dare to put those charge on the customers. It shows the charge
would be reversed without question by the credit company.
