為所用的TREATY的ARTICLE (20 & 19)都注明"B",

The standard deduction is lost if treaty is claimed as "resident alien"). 你說對了TREATY和standard deduction不能同時要, 所以這位朋友要選擇其一, 主要看他/她一個月的工資多還是standard deduction多. 估計取後者不提TREATY的事.
