You do have legal rights to ask them not to call you any
more, according to the federal law. If they keep calling
you, they are against the law, and you have rights to sue
them. That's what my lawyer told me.

Then you may deal with your so called debts by your own
way. Of course, if the debts really exist and it's worth
for them, they have rights to sue you to repay your debts too.
