Just kidding, but I believe there is nothing you need to worry about. Just wait for the notice (if any) and read it carefully to make sure you do not get points by pleading guilty. You did not mention where you live so I'll just tell you my experience in NYC, hope it helps.
First time, I made a right turn at an intersaction when yellow light turned red. I got a notice with two pictures of my license plate for $50 fine if I plea guilty, no points. So I paid. And I found out how they caught me. When the red light is on and you are crossing the line, the sensor they planted underneath the road will trigger the camera to take the first photo with your current position, then in a split of a second the camera will take another one. Comparing the two they will know if you just ran the red light, or you were already in the intersaction when the red light turned on. So you see, you should be fine.
Second time, I beat the light, it flashed twice trying to catch me but I turned already. So I never received any notice. The truth and fact is that this is just one way your city trying to rip you off and they just wanted money. If you pay, you should be fine. After all, you were not caught by a policeman.
I got flashed too, twice
