"We broke, we cry; you broke, you buy." -- It's not necessarily always right.
Once I was in a crystal shop, I accidentally broke several crystal wineglasses. At first, I was very worried and was fraid to need to compensate them because they were so expensive. However, the shop staff told me that since it is the shop's decision to put the merchandise in the aisle, the shop should bear the full responsibility that customers may break the glasses(merchandise) by accident. Therefore, I need to compensate nothing for my carelessness.
However, I felt so sorry for what I had done. So, I bought many crystal glasses and fruit plates from that shop that day.
Good merchants always know what is good for them to do. --- That's what I learned from my own experience.

讀過一篇文章,你至少可以要求付“成本”費。不付零售價

如果是在大陸,過道旁的玻璃器皿,肯定是老板乘心放的廉價貨。
