In the law system, a person is innocent until proved guilty. No matter how much money he has, if he want to sue you for scandling, he will have to prove what you said is not ture. That is very difficult for him. And spreading the truth is nothing wrong at all.
as long as he can't prove you are lying, there is nothing he can do.
