Hi, All,
I singned a one-year lease(will end in December 2006) for my current apartment
with the landlord. Now I got a job offer and have to move out the apartment
as soon as possible.
The landlord gives me two options: Either find someone to take over my lease,
or pay a cancellation fee $3200 (four month rent). The lease says I am
responsible for the lease until I find someone to take over my lease, which
does not mention about the cancellation fee and the amount.
Since finding someone to take over my lease may take longer time, and I want
to move out as soon as possible. I am not sure pay him $3200 is reasonable or
outrageous?
Does anyone have a similar experience? Could someone give me some advice or
suggestions?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Urgent help in apartment lease cancellation fee?

地主的要求不過分, 但自己看情況是找人接手還是受罰,
