2. If you are pregnant or disabled
Any pregnant woman can be "presumed eligible" at certain clinics and given a kind of limited Medi-Cal immediately. This will help you get early care such as lab tests so long as they are related to your pregnancy. You still have to turn in a regular Medi-Cal application. You no longer have to provide proof that you are pregnant to get pregnancy-related Medi-Cal.
