You need to have some lesson on us justice system. The case is on DA's hands right now. Your LG can not and doee not have power "drop the charge". It's government (DA) against you. Your LG is only to testify on court if trial goes on.

Hire an experience and reputable laywer is only choice for you now. It is time to burn money. If you got convected you will be DEPORTED and you will lose your greencard. If you file for devoce you will lose your children's custody.

Just telling the truth your hu*****and is an abusive person in marriage in this case is NOT helpful at all. The judge and DA is only looking at this incodent. If your trial has an jury they may buy some of your tears on court but past history of your hu*****and does help you to get accuqitted, period.
