question about will

HI:
I was interested in creating a will, just in case!

It is said that the marriage jointly owned properties, such as home, bank joint accoutn, bonds...should not been included in the will. It follows survivorship rule. If that is the case, I don't have much to say in my will, because I don't have much of my personal property.

Is there a way that my parents can get a portion of the jointly owned properties? I feel that they deserve it.
