got speeding ticket........

Hi, all

On Sat, I past by construction zone, then, all the constuction barriers has been removed and road was clear....I think I was out of the constrction area, so I speeded up, till 48mph instead of 25 mph limit......and sure enough, a cop caught me.

I went to talk to court clark and set a court today, she told me since this is my first speeding ticket, I should try to ask them how to keep it not show on my record. I am not sure what she meant, is it the insurance record?

so what should I do? keep my mouth shut and just pay the fine? or tell judge that I think I was out of constuction zone.....should I talk to DA in court?? thanks for any info
