1. Goods on layaway require 21 days notice to pick-up or delivery. Special orders must be picked up or delivered as soon as they arrive from the manufacture.
2. We reserve the right to delay if shortage, or cancel the order of goods which are not available.
3. Highland Furniture will not accept any respnsibility for any damage to private property during delivery.
4. Purchaser acknowledges that only the warranty of the manufacturer will apply to the merchandise. Customer is responsible for re-delivery charges.
5. All floor models are sold on an "as is" basis with no warranties or guarantees. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the merchandise prior to buying.
6. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to inspect all goods prior to pick-up or delivery. Once goods are accepted and signed for, no claims will be accepted.
7. ALL DELIVERIES ARE ONLY UP TO THE CUSTOMER'S FRONT DOOR.
8. Purchaser is responsible for re-delivery charges if not home at the scheduled delivery time or if prior arrangements have not been made for elevator reservations.
9. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the furniture will fit into their home prior to purchasing. Highland furniture is not responsible if merchandise does not pass through doorways, staircases, elevators or fit into the premises, nor for any damage caused by the delivery persons while attempting to deliver the merchandise into the premises.
10. All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds on any orders or on merchandise. 25% of the total sale will be charged on any cancellation and any deposit will be forfeited by the customer.
11. Any remaining balance is due at the store and is payable by cash or certified cheque. Delivery will not be scheduled until balance is paid in full.
12. Highland furniture is not responsible for any damage on merchandise picked up at the store by the customer.
13. Delivery dates and times are approximate and could vary due to supply availability, traffic, weather, or other delays or circumstances beyond our control.
14. Furniture packaging and garbage removal is not the responsibility of Highland furniture or its delivery staff.
15. SETUP IS NOT INCLUDED WITH DELIVERY.
