H-1B1 visa

I am applying H-1b visa from Switzerland. I just got my PhD here. After the interview, I got a blue paper, it said I should also provide a detailed description of future work and my CV with a list of publications. I posted all documents three weeks ago. But when I telephoned today to ask when I can get the visa, I was told that my documents were sent to Washington D.C to clarify. Who can tell me what does this mean? Can I get the visa or not? Thanks a lot.
