Your wife should talk to the

DA office. There is one person who evaluates whether your wife was making a false charge. If this person understands that this has never happened, DA office will drop the charge. Try her best. she is the only one who can save your future now. Your wife would be OK, she wouldn't be into any leagal trouble. if you are sentensed felony, you will always have trouble in future job searching, etc. But most importantly, your wife has to make sure that she does not make the same call for 911 again. Or two cases would be counted together. Good luck!!
