求助:今天下午剛剛發生的事情

今天下午,回家路上,我開在一條隻有兩條道路的右道上,前麵沒有什麽車,突然間從左側車流中串出一輛車,在離我很近的地方,要橫穿到馬路的對麵(我車的右側)... 我刹車不及,結果就撞上了他車右側. 我感覺到就現在我手還在為所發生的事顫抖.

事情發生得很突然,事後那車主找到一個目擊者,還給目擊者又買水,又互留電話.目擊者和對方拒絕給我聯係方式.身在異鄉,感到好無助,雖然事後警察告訴我most likely對方要負全責,可那個目擊者願意幫他,我會怎麽樣?

警察建議我先給對方issue ticket,會對事情真相有所幫助,請大家給出出主意ticket要怎麽辦,在處理這事時,還要注意些什麽? 我在新澤西. 謝謝
