小孩的國籍問題

我有加拿大的國籍。　現在，　拿工作簽證在美國工作。　我是在加拿大待了３年多，才到美國來得。　我還是喜歡加拿大一些，　想過一兩年還是回去。

我十一月就要作ｍｏｔｈｅｒ　呐！ My child will be born in US. 我查了一下ｃｉｃ，　ｃａｎａｄａ　ｉｍｍｉｇｒａｎｔｉｏｎ　ａｎｄ　Ｃｉｔｉｚｅｎｓｈｉｐ　的網站，my child will be a Canadian citizen by birth due to my Canadian citizheship.

If we let him have a Canadian citizenship( because we are going back to Canada to raise him), will my child loss his chance to get US citizenship? The reason we my child to keep US citizenship is that it would be easier for him to find jobs in US. My child does not have to go through all the paper works I have been through. I worked in Canada too. I know how tough it is there.


I heard that US does not accept dual citizhenship. Is that mean once my child got a Canadian citizenship card, he lost his chance to be US citizen?

I would appreciated a lot if anyone can help me out here. Or point me to some websites.
