由於我乳房是高密度，婦科醫生推薦我做MRI，我4/4 號做的MRI 結果是abnormal。

“ There is a 7 mm enhancing mass in the central upper left breast. Targeted left breast ultrasound examination is recommended to aid in determining image guidance for core needle biopsy in this high-risk patient. There are no suspicious findings in the right breast. Sonogram of the spleen may be helpful for further evaluation. Other cross sectional imaging such as CT of the chest may be helpful for further evaluation of periaortic fluid. OVERALL FINAL ASSESSMENT: SUSPICIOUS. BI-RADS Category 4A: Low suspicion for malignancy.”

然後醫生又讓我在5/6 做ultrasound, 進一步確認了MRI的檢查結果。

: Mass in the 12:00 left breast is favored to correspond to the enhancing mass on MRI and warrants ultrasound-guided biopsy OVERALL ASSESSMENT: BI-RADS Category 4: Suspicious finding-biopsy should be considered. Subcategory 4a: low suspicion for malignancy. RECOMMENDATION: One site ultrasound guided biopsy of the left breast Findings and recommendation were discussed with the patient by Dr. Lowdermilk. Thank you for allowing us to participate in the care of your patient. Narrative

EXAMINATION: Limited left breast ultrasound on5/6/2024 11:38 AM. PRIOR: Breast MRI 4/4/24 HISTORY: 52 year old female at increased risk for breast cancer with an enhancing mass in the upper central left breast is referred for second look ultrasound FINDINGS: Limited ultrasound of the upper central left breast demonstrates a hypoechoic mass with angular margins in parallel orientation in the 12:00 position 8 cm from the nipple measuring 6 x 3 x 5 mm favored to correspond to the enhancing mass on MRI

然後護士當天就給約了今天的用ultrasound做biopsy 。radiologist 不是同一人，不過ultrasound的technologist是同一個人。在做活檢之前那個技工又做了一遍ultrasound，然後在左邊乳房mark了一下。我以為他們都是確認好地方才開始做的。做完後又做了個mammograph 發現醫生取活檢的地方和MRI推薦的地方不是一個地兒。醫生說這不是他的錯也不是ultrasound 技工的錯，因為他們都是人都會出錯，還跟我說下次用MRI 再做一次活檢。今天的結果還不知道，他們就要charge我將近$3000。我不知道該和誰討個說法關於這種情況，對他們的專業行為我真是失望, 覺得被欺騙了。請版主和有經驗的網友獻計獻策。先謝謝了！
