if box 1 (wages) is 230K, box 2 (social security wage) is 114K, box 3 (medicare wage) is 246K.
pre-tax 401K is not counted in box 1, but it is counted in box 2 and 3.
For box 3, so it is possible you have 16K pre-tax 401K contribution that is not counted in box 1 for income tax, but counted in box 3 for medicare tax. There is no maximum wage limit for Medicare tax so 246K is 230K + 16K.
For box 2, the maximum wage subject to social security is 160K for 2023. I have no idea why your box2 is 114K.
