You are over reacting.

All you had to do was call the credit card company and ask them to sent you the receipt or tape recording for the charges. They will put the charges on dispute, which means you don't have to pay. Then they have 60 days to give you the evidence. If they have a record of your voice/signature, then they make you pay, or they will dismiss the charges.
