Generally the school offers couseling and legal service for the students. Find out from your school and talk to the counselor honestly what you have experienced and they will give you advice of how to get out of this mess. You need to tell them how she threated you with suicide and police call etc. The lawyer from school will tell you how you can protect yourself in case she does call the police or does other stupid things.
If you want you can entrust your family member in China to get divorce at the same time.

You should have no problem find another place to live. But I think you should let the school counselor knows first in case.
