What is your current petition, joint petition or petition under waiver? If the interview is in response to your joint petition, your hu*****and must show up. Otherwise, your petition will be denied on-site and the CIS will put you in the removal proceeding directly. However, you are allowed to file I-765 supplemental petition, asking to waive the joint petition, when you are in removal proceeding. If this is the case, I suggest you to contact an immigration attorney, see if it is feasible to reschedule the interview and file I-765 supplemental petition before the interview.
