Just like upstair someone said, you have couple options.

If you just want an apology, write a letter to the company headquater and demand a formal apology in wrtiting, otherwise you can threaten you will bring up a law suit.

If you intended to sue them, do the following:
1. Go to a doctor, tell him you can't sleep after this event, headache, stomach ache, you name it...whatever you think it is possible...Tell the docto=r how bad it is and get some medication for it. You may even should go to a Phsychologist.

2. Find a tort lawyer who charges fee on contigency. All your medical bill will be evidnce in the court or settling process.

3. You may sue them for assault, battery (since they touched you), IIED (Intentional Infliction Emotional Distress) and/or false imprisonment.

4. Next time, you should refuse they touch your bodyand search you, or you can ask for document to prove they followed right procedure to deal with this kind event, and ask them to call the police to solve the probelm at the spot if you are innocent. In most states, Shopper owners do have rights to find out the truth if they suspect someone is shoplifting. However, from what you described, I think they crossed the line when they do it.
