I bought retal house about 150000, so the basis is 150000. If I never claim depreciation(you say i am legal to do that), when i sell the house, the basis still 150000. If i claim depreciation part of years i rent out this house. let say 10000, so the basis go down to 140000. Is my comprehension right.Thanks for your respone. by the way, do i have limit to claim lose for rental house.
