Every state has child support guideline. MA guideline might be the highest. Support ends till 23 if child goes to college, otherwise 18. For IT professionals(both), child support may be around $18,000. Be aware that child support is after tax.Education cost may be negotiated.

Child custody battle may be time and money consuming, attorney fees may be well over 5 digits if not settle quickly.

The mother still is a better candidate of physical custody unless you prove that she is unfit.
