Corporation does not have partners. Only partnership is composed of partners. You may become a partner of a different entity while you are in H1 status. The major issue which is of critical importance would be unauthorized employment. Technically you can not work for anyone other than your employer who sponsored H1 for you. As long as there is no "employment" invovled, you are fine.
