2004年7月中剛來美的Postdoctor researcher , is it necessary to file 8833?
I asked IRS; one lady told me I only need to file 1040NR-EZ, and 8833 is only necessary for 2005;
but another man told me I should file 1040NR-EZ+8833 for 2004.

why they answered me differently?

shall I also file 8833 this year?
