parents dependents

Hi:

My parents came here on 6-26-04, and succeeded extended their visa until 6-25-05. I know that they stayed here for more than 183 days in 2004, and they both retired, income in china is very low.

1) Can we claim them as our dependents?
2) We will attach w-7 form on our tax return. Should we calculate our return based on the assumption that my parents are our dependents?
