You may call them and ask for

information about the car such as the Make, Model, and the color of the vehicle that was ticketed. They should have a record for all the information. If they can't offer such information, or if the information doesn't match your car, the ticket will be invalid. They will send you a letter later, saying it was a mistake and you are not responsible for the ticket. It happened to me bfore. However, if the information matches your car perfectly, I am afraid you may have to pay the ticket unless you can convice them your car was not in that area that time that day. Good luck!
