Technicine wrote $400 on the invoice that means he received your payment $400. You have obligation to pay your service, if tech did not receive your payment, he won't leave. The tech will not for $400 loss his job and bad credit.
I would suggest that either use check or credit card to pay that you have evidence to prove.
