help! help! remodeling problem

We have signed a contract with a window and door company to replace some of our windows and doors. When the company started to install them, we found out that the patio door is about 3 and ½ inches smaller than our original door. It turned out that all our new windows are customized but all our new doors are not. They didn’t inform us before we sign the contract and we have told them that we want customized windows and doors. Now the company uses bigger casing to cover the gap which doesn’t match our rest of windows. We are very upset about this situation, but the company insisted that we signed the contract. The problem is that they did the measurement not us, and we never even thought of doing size verification.
What should we do now? Any suggestion or advise is greatly appreciated.
