They had got back yard sprayed without my knowledge and will do monthly for a few month. Also, they have set up appointment to set up traps with another company next week. They said they would deduct from rent if I don't reimburse them. They said it was landlord's responbility.
last year They asked me to do the same. I called a few companys. Nobody garantee the no animal came back outdoor. So I didn't do anything. They called City to inspect and said city would enforce me to do the work. But city came but didn't have me to do anything. City told me on the phone they would write them letter how to maintain the yard. Cleaning and remove food from yard is important.
The flea was gone eventually last year. Now they claimed flea was back. They had done the above and will charge me. I have asked tenant to provide me the report from City, but they didn't provide me. It is outdoor. if they have anything in yard to attract animal, what can I do?
The lease didn't say Landlord would provide the pest control fee. Enviromental department from City didn't enforce me to do anything.
