If I make the first year choice, I know now that I can claim my baby and my hu*****and as my depents (but the exemption will not exceed my H1 income), can you tell me can I still have the treaty deduction for F1? Since I am dual status. My income as a postdoctor is limited that's why I am trying to understand more and get more deductions allowed by the law.
