請教超速ticket

老哥拿到一張indiana的超速罰款---限速60的路上開了88。今天收到要求出庭的通知-you are hereby notified taht an order has been made for you to pay in Room 123 or appear in the court. 

不知道是不是一定要出庭。還是直接交罰款就可以了？剛才試了試在線交，好像說兩周後才可以。

 不出庭，會有什麽不好的後果嗎？

如果想上交通法規課程，該怎麽上呢？
