住在一起也可以算分居甚至離婚。2008年房地產崩潰以後，很多離婚家庭都是被迫住在一起。關鍵是不要對社會宣稱自己還是夫妻。這不僅僅是對鄰居親友的，你們也不能作為一個家庭去買車和房的保險，最好不要有共同銀行賬戶等等。

英文的說法是“Not to hold themselves out as married couple".  

你自己可以對外說，Circumstances forced us to live under the same roof, but we have not been holding ourselves as married couple since our legal separation on x/x/2015.
