You have a tough case. Since you cannot prove damage, i.e. your personal injury, it is hard for you to ask for compensation. Your goal is to ask the Clinic to pay the bill of the hospital and you want free legal service from an attorney (because you have no ground to ask for compensation). Well, not too many attorneys are willing to provide free legal services, which is understandable. Attorneys make living on the legal services they provide.

You can contact local legal services in your area and see if you can get any suggestions from them or if them can refer you to Volunteer Lawyers Group or the like kind organizations(I assumed your family can be deemed as low-income). You also can contact your local bar association, see if it can refer you attorneys who are willing to provide legal services for low-income people.

Alternatively, talk to an ob-gyn doctor (maybe the one who gave you the D&C, providing him all medical records from the clinic and ask for his opinion whether there is any negligence from the Clinic's side. You need some experts' opinion to back up your argument that the Clinic did something wrong to you. If you are very confident about the outcome, talk to an attorney specialized on medical malpractice, see if there is any legal ground for you to collect attorney's fee from the other party (the clinic in your case) if you win the case.
