SS是把養老社會化製度化

SS就是現在的年輕人繳稅養老年人。你所說的自己存錢買保險，1940年以前不是沒有，但是靠個人努力，社會還是不穩定，因為有很多人不像你那麽自覺。

中國人說年輕人要養活自己的父母，美國人把這個美德製度化了，大家不要光說得漂亮，你要繳稅養老人，put your money where your mouth is.
