經過漫長時間等待，最近兩天忍不住聯係了雙方保險公司。得知的結果卻是大吃一驚，雙方保險公司都要“放棄不管”了且事先沒有任何通知。對方保險公司稱車主所駕駛的車輛是在Enterprise租的車，租車時購買的額外保險承擔了對方修車的所需費用，所以沒有從原有的保險公司Claim. 而我這邊由於是非全保，所以也無法申請arbitration。目前雙方保險公司強調他們沒有付任何錢，隻有我自己上小額法庭了。如果放棄上庭，雙方保險公司都各不負責，即我不賠對方，對方也不賠我。
我保險公司的回複：
We cannot issue arbitration since we did not make payment. Since you have liability only and they are not filing arbitration your only recourse to continue is to file small claims court against the other party. If you do file please email me right away with the date you are given and a representative from Mercury can meet you out there.
這種結局是我沒有料想到的，除了上庭貌似再沒有別的選擇了，除非選擇忍氣吞聲。懇請各位兄弟姐妹各抒己見，看下我這種狀況還有沒有別的方法去解決？如果有，該如何向保險公司提出要求？如果沒有，如何去小額法庭申訴？先謝謝大家了。
