The rest 2 are located on main floor which closer to city road, when we turn on the faucet, no water goes to tank. It must get into city sewer system. The house is 9 years old. Not the case we need pump all the septic tank every 2 or 3 years depending on the usage.
The tank and pump has an automatic control box, it has start, stop and alarm floats, control the pump working or not.
Background more. The house has 3 level, main, upper and basment. Basement is lower than city sewer system, usually it will have a pump and tank. But this house the design is the majority drain water goes into the tank.
Is this called a septic tank in a laywer's word? If it is not, do you think the owner should disclosure this tank?
