The way to hold any demonstration is to stand on the OPPOSITE sidewalk of the intended target.

As long as you are not on their property, and as long as you don't make excessive noise, there is no way they can limit your freedom of speech. That is, they can call cops, and cops cannot stop you from speaking to other people. At most the cop can stand by you and maintain the peace.

Although they cannot stop you THAT DAY from speaking, afterwards they could sue you in court for damages, but they have to prove any damage they suffered. They can't just say they are not happy, they have to prove that as a result of your action, they lost money. If they sold the house (by the time your case went to court), where is the harm?
