I think you are a reasonable man and do a right thing, not like many of those who are just cursing you or ridiculing you without any justified reasons.
I guess most of them are just women and of course they don't like to be beaten no matter how bad they are (they won't admit it anyway). You cannot talk reasons with them: If you are reasoning with them, they just say you are not a man(ridiculous,though) but dare not talk reasons; if you are not reasonning and resort to fists, they will resort to reasons (stupid dilemma): they just don't want to admit their mistakes. So let it be, men use man's way to solve problems and women use theirs.
