Since you entered as F-2, you must have divorced F-1 first and then married your current hu*****and. Because you did not mention you had other status, you must be out of status at the time of your hu*****and's immigrant petition. On I-130 petition, you must fill out the foreign address and request CIS to send your case there. Whoever made the mistake, it takes time to correct it. If you live in New York City, I would suggest that you refile the whole case.
