Changing address is a serious thing, it affects the chain of deeds (房產買賣鏈）recorded at the county court house. Some later buyer would expect to find unit 19 but the history shows unit 13. 你自己也需要注意，以後賣房的時候要解釋清楚。

相對來說，你的condo board反而不關心這些。你自己去問condo HOA， You are on your own to deal with your condo board.

再說，你需要把房子買下來才能改，買以前不是你的財產，現在都是瞎忙。所以你隻能住一段鬼屋。
