柴油引擎用汽油會報廢，汽油引擎用柴油沒有太大損害

汽油在柴油引擎裏會點火，所以損害很大。柴油比汽油重，不易揮發，所以柴油在汽油引擎裏無法點火，汽油引擎不會燒壞。修理僅需要把柴油從引擎裏麵洗掉，幾百元差不多。

但是租車公司（假設樓主問的是rental car）會另外收loss of use的賠償，又是幾百元，加起來可能過千。
