Yes, I am sure.

I got caught twice in Texas, I paid fine and that's it. No point was recorded.

Since it is not a moving violation, it won't affect your insurance premium.

In the first time, I tried to dismiss the ticket by taking the defense driving class. The court told me I can not do that because it is not a moving violation (such as speeding, run stop sign).
