problem about lease

could anyone here help me with my problem of lease.
We bought a house recently, and plan to move out of the apartment in the middle of this month. Because I broke the lease,my landlord ask me to pay back the concession and the rent for the rest of the month. I agree to pay back the concession because it is specified in the lease agreement we signed, but don't want to pay the rent for the rest of the month because it is not in the agreement at all. however, my landlord said that I have to pay even though it is not there?
is my landlord right?
