Where did you go to win this case? I have an insurance claim case that I want to take to court as well - but don't know where to start.

The doctor sent the bill (for a 2003 surgery) to my old address in 2001 and couldn't get hold of me. Then he sent it to the debt collector and I just got the letter on 11/24/2004 and it was the first time i heard about this bill. Today insurance company will deny this bill because it was not submitted within a year. And the doctor's office insisted that I have to pay it because I didn't give them the right contact information. The fact is that they asked the hospital my address, not from me. So I have no way of knowing this.

It is so unfair to absorb this bill - around $700. Either the hosptal or the doctor's office needs to write it off, not me. I am going to take it to court. But where do I start??
